Flue Kits were contacted by the owner of a building plot in rural Herefordshire. Architects had put together plans for a modern timber framed property to include a solid fuel stove on the first floor of the new building.
The architects had not specified the flue diameter or type, leaving a void in the plans for the new masonry chimney stack.
After a consultation, in which the client expressed an interest in a flue kit more long lasting than stainless steel, Flue Kits were able to work off the architects plans supplied by the owner to specify a suitable flue kit using Isokern 150mm dia flue liners with a LECA backfill. A quote for the entire flue kit, including LECA backfill, was supplied to the owner.
The client contacted Flue Kits to accept the quotation and payment was made via a secure credit card system. The entire flue kit was then palletised and dispatched for delivery within 5 working days.
Using detailed schematics supplied with the flue kit the main contractor on site was able to put together and install the Isokern flue kit for connection to the clients stove.
